FOR THE TOWN OF PIERCETON, INDIANA,
MUNICIPAL GARBAGE COLLECTION
Property owners, ratepayers, and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the Town of Pierceton in regards to garbage collection are hereby notified that Ordinance No. 2021-12-1, amending the rates and charges for garbage collection services was introduced at a meeting of the Town Council held on December 13, 2021. At a meeting of the Town Council to be held at 6:30 p.m., on January 10, 2022, at the Pierceton Community Building, 105 Walnut Street, Pierceton, IN, there will be a public hearing on the matter of the rates and charges, and consideration of adoption of Ordinance No. 2021-12-1, which provides in part the following rates:
Each residential user shall be charged a rate of Eleven Dollars ($11.00) per residential user per month for sanitation, garbage and solid waste disposal services.
At such hearing and prior to final adoption of said ordinance, all interested parties may appear and be heard. A copy of Ordinance No. 2021-12-1 may be examined at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, at the Pierceton Community Building, 105 Walnut Street, Pierceton, Indiana 46562.
