Former Warsaw Tiger football placekicker and 2020 Warsaw Community High School graduate Harrison Mevis has been selected to the All-SEC first team as a member of the Missouri Tigers, the conference announced Tuesday.

Coming off of a spectacular freshman campaign, Mevis was even better in 2021, making 20 of his 22 field goal attempts, a 91% clip. Mevis was also perfect on all three of his attempts from 50+ yards, including a career-high 56-yarder in September to force overtime against Boston College.

Mevis also made all 40 of his extra point attempts, staying perfect in his college career with a 68-68 total. Mevis and his Tiger teammates will finish their season on December 22 against Army in the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, TX.
