SYRACUSE – Michael Gross, 68, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at his home.  

He was born on March 6, 1952, in Anderson, to James and Joanna Garrett Gross. He was a longtime Dewart Lake resident. He was a computer engineer before his retirement.  

He is survived by his two daughters: Judith (Ed) Allen, of Cromwell; and Margaret Williams, of North Webster; one son, Steven (Laura) Zartman, of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren; one brother: Dallas Gross, of Fort Wayne; one half brother, Jim Gross; father, James Gross, of South Bend.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating.
