Author, Screenwriter Richard Rose To Speak At Tomato Fest

Rose grew up in Kokomo and resides in northern Indiana part of the year. His first mystery novel, “The Satyr Candidate,” was published in 1979. After writing many screenplays, his next novel, “The Lazarus Conspiracies,” was published in 2013 by Savant Books and Publications. This novel won a fiction award at the 2015 Pacific Rim Book Festival in Hollywood. Rose followed next with a mystery novel set in 1947 Chicago titled “The Gumshoe.” A sequel to Lazarus, “Retribution,” will be published soon.
Rose also wrote “Comic Crusaders,” which is an adventure/fantasy screenplay written in book form. Published in 2019, this book has been optioned for a motion picture.
Rose will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a special question-and-answer hour from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. inside The Depot. He is looking forward to discussing his writings with the public. He will have copies available of his books to purchase and will also dedicate and autograph his work.
The 14th Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival is Aug. 28 in Brower Park. Brower Park is in downtown Pierceton next to the The Depot.
