City of Warsaw Additional Appropriations

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the City of Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers will consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year at their regular meeting place of 102 S. Buffalo Street, at 7:00 p.m., on the 17th day of May, 2021.
Fund Name: General Fund
Major Budget Classification: AMOUNT Other Services and Charges 290,525.00
TOTAL from General Fund 290,525.00
Funds are to be used for COVID-19 services, utility services, and new traffic signals.
Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken. The meeting will be held in-person and also streamed live online at warsaw.in.gov/watchcitymeetings. Comments will be taken in-person and by text message for those who cannot attend. In order for a text message to be read aloud during the Public Hearing, it must include the full name and address of the sender. Text messages must be sent to (574) 377-0287 prior to the close of the Public Hearing.
