Pursuant to Indiana Code § 20 26 7 37 and Indiana Code § 6 1.1 20 3.5, notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees of the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation will meet at 6:00 p.m. on May 17, 2021 at Akron Elementary School, 202 E. Rural Street, Akron, Indiana and at 6:00 p.m. on May 24, 2021, at Mentone Elementary School, 301 E Jackson Street, Mentone, Indiana to hold public hearings.
On May 17, 2021, the Board will hold a public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support regarding the proposed 2022 Modernization, Improvement and Renovation Projects which include renovation of and improvements to the Tippecanoe Valley High School including site improvements and the purchase of equipment and technology (the "Projects"). On May 24, 2021, the Board will hold a second public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support regarding the proposed Projects and will also consider the adoption of a resolution making a preliminary determination to enter into a lease agreement relating to the Projects and to issue bonds to finance the Projects. You are invited to attend and participate in the public hearings.
