Manchester Gets TRC?Girls Soccer Win Over Rochester; Unified Football sectional bracket, and more!

ROCHESTER – Despite surrendering an own goal in the first half, Manchester came back for a 3-2 shootout win over host Rochester in a Three Rivers Conference girls soccer match Monday.

Hadley Schannep opened the Squire scoring with her first goal of the season off a cross from Lainey Shock. The equalizer came shortly after halftime.

The match remained tied through both overtime periods. In the shootout, Lex Donathan, Ella Clifford, and Beletu Stout each found the net to give Manchester the victory.

The Squires return to action Wednesday, hosting Maconaquah in TRC play.
