HCAC Announces Men’s, Women’s Soccer Schedules

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the HCAC announced that conference competition in women’s soccer would be pushed to 2021. The Black & Gold women’s soccer team is scheduled to play nine conference matches during the month of March.
Manchester’s women’s team will open conference play with a home match on March 3, against the Franklin College Grizzlies.
The Black & Gold will then will the road have a three-game swing at Transylvania (March 6), Defiance (March 10), and Earlham (March 13).
The Black & Gold will return home on Wednesday March 17 to host Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Manchester will also welcome Hanover College to North Manchester on March 20.
Towards the end of the month, the Spartans will travel to rival Anderson on the 24th. Manchester will host Mount St. Joseph on March 27, and Bluffton on March 31.

The Spartans will open HCAC play on the road at Franklin College on March 3. Manchester will then travel to Transylvania on March 6.
The Black & Gold will host the Yellow Jackets of Defiance College on Wednesday, March 10, before heading on the road for its next two contests at Earlham (March 13) and at Rose-Hulman (March 17).
Towards the end of March, Manchester will have a three-game home stand. The Spartans will host Hanover College on March 20. Rival Anderson University will visit North Manchester on March 24. Mount St. Joseph will conclude the home stand on March 27.
The Spartans will conclude their conference schedule on Wednesday, March 31, with a road trip to Bluffton University.
All teams will play a 10th game based on where schools finish after the nine regular season conference games (1 v 2, 3 v 4, 5 v 6, 7 v 8, 9 v 10) with higher seeds hosting each match. The winner of the 1-seed vs. the 2-seed match would be the HCAC Tournament Champions.
Health officials, school administrators, coaches, and student-athletes are diligently working to make outside competition a reality during the 2020-21 school year.
Many game times are still to be determined and the schedule is subject to change. Policies on fan attendance are still forthcoming.
