BLUFFTON, Ohio – For the first time in over six months, student-athletes donning the Manchester University black and gold colors were able to compete against someone other than themselves. What a refreshing site.

The Manchester University cross country teams traveled to Bluffton University in Ohio on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans faced off against the host Beavers and the Transylvania University Pioneers in tri-meet action. Both genders ran a 3200-meter run followed by a mixed gender 4x400-meter relay.

The men won the meet after posting a team score of 36 points. Transylvania was a close second with 40 points. Bluffton totaled 50 points.

The women won the meet after posting a team score of 19 points. Bluffton finished second with 53 points. Transylvania tallied 57 points. Manchester went 1-2-3 overall and had six women earn top 10 finishes on Saturday afternoon.
