The team did not reach campus until 11 p.m. on Monday night and had to leave at 6 a.m. Tuesday in time for the morning round. Grace was even better on short rest, producing a 308 to end in second place. Grace’s 308 tied for the sixth-lowest round in team history.
Overall, Grace’s team score of 621 was the third-lowest total in program history.
Lucy Young had a sensational tournament. She carded a 76-75 to place third. Her 151 tied her own record for fourth-lowest round in Lady Lancer history.
Carolyn Pacocha and Rebecca Hawes also landed in the top-10 on the individual leaderboard. Pacocha was seventh with an 80-76, and Hawes was just behind her with two rounds of 79.
Rachel Harvey enjoyed a second-round 78 for her total of 162, and Abby Slabaugh shot a 78 on Monday for her 167.

“I could not be more pleased with our effort. It was a complete team effort, as shown by four rounds of 70s today,” said Grace head coach Denny Duncan. “I was proud of our ladies, battling through multiple delays and challenging weather to produce one of our best tournaments ever.”
Next up, Grace will participate in the Bethel Invitational on Sept. 14-15.
