The Warsaw Lady Tiger Cross Country team remained undefeated in NLC Conference action this past Saturday. The Lady Tigers captured the Conference Championship meet comfortably beating Northridge 38-47 giving them the overall team title.  

Leading the way were juniors Wini Barnett (3rd in 19:43), Ava Knight (4th in 19:44) and Regan Brouwer 6th in 19:46). The senior Adree Beckham (12th in 20:43) and freshman Elizabeth Vander Bie (13th in 20:52) rounded out the Tiger scoring.  

The Tigers also captured the JV title race by dominating the next closest team 17-72.  Paced by seniors Whitney Shepherd (1st in 21:34), Lily Boston (2nd in 21:49), and Flo Viera (3rd in 22:09) the Tigers took 7 of the top 10 spots and 10 of the top 20 to dominate the rest of the field.

Barnett, Knight, Brouwer and Beckham were named to the All-Conference Team, while sophomore Erika Bugg, senior Whitney Shepherd and freshman Elizabeth Vander Bie were were selected for Honorable Mention recogition.

Next up for the varsity squad is the IHSAA Sectional Saturday at Manchester.
