Notre Dame Great Barlow To Speak At NCCAA Banquet

Barlow, a legendary basketball player at Notre Dame, will be the keynote speaker at the banquet on March 17. The banquet, held at Warsaw Community Church, starts at 6:30 p.m.

Barlow was inducted to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. He played in a school-record 120 games at Notre Dame, producing 1,342 career points. He graduated among the all-time leaders in blocks, steals, field goal percentage and free throw percentage.
Barlow was a two-time team MVP, two-time captain and was honorable mention All-American. As a result, he was drafted in the 1986 NBA Draft with the No. 23 overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers.
He went on to play his professional career overseas in Europe. He played across the continent, winning 12 championships across Italy, Greece and Israel.
Barlow was one of the top high school players in the country at Cathedral High School. He led Cathedral to a final four as a senior and was a McDonald’s All-American.
Barlow currently serves as the Vice President of Community Relations and Diversity at Cathedral.
