The Watershed Foundation’s second annual “Dance Through the Decades” at Tippy Dance Hall is set for July 25.

“It promises to be a fun-packed and nostalgic evening, with dancing under the stars to live music from Key West's acclaimed Reggie Sullivan Band,” according to a news release from TWF.

Many local natives will have teenaged memories of nights spent with friends at Tippy Dance Hall. Dance Through the Decades is a chance to walk down memory lane and guest are invited to “come as you were,” whether that was in the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s or ’90s

Tickets include a traditional shrimp boil dinner, with vegetarian options available, will full table service for food and drinks. There will also be a fundraising raffle, prize draws and awards for best costume.

For more information and to buy tickets, visit watershedfoundation.org/dance2020, or reserve a table for eight and bring your friends. Ticket sales are limited due to social distancing measures.

All proceeds from the event benefit local lakes by funding projects that keep land-based pollution from entering the waterways. The Watershed Foundation has been taking action for healthy lakes in this area for more than 20 years and relies on support from local residents to carry out its work.

Guests are advised that appropriate precautions have been put in place to promote distancing during the event, such as limited ticket sales, outdoor dancing, assigned seating and table service, the release states.
