Crossroads Bank opened for business Monday at the new Warsaw location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The newest branch of the bank is at 895 N. Parker St., Warsaw, making it the seventh location for the bank and the second in Kosciusko County. The completion of the two-year construction project was celebrated Monday when the bank opened its doors to customers.

Beth Madding, branch manager, said the other location in the county is in Syracuse and Warsaw’s location is a full-service bank.

“We offer completely free checking, safety deposit boxes, commercial lending, we have a mortgage officer here,” Madding said. “You name it, we can do it.”

The Warsaw branch has seven employees and will be open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for lobby service, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for the drive-thru. The drive-thru will stay open an hour later on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, the lobby is closed but the drive-thru is open from 8 a.m. to noon.

Madding also said anyone who signs up for a new account will receive a gift, and anyone who refers a customer to the bank gets a gift. On Monday, a drawing for a flat-screen TV was held.

Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Rob Parker was happy to see the bank open and complimented the facility.

“It’s a great investment in Warsaw and the surrounding area,” Parker said. “Any time we get a new business, it’s a good thing.”

“We’re a community bank, so we are here truly to be a part of the community and help in any way that we can,” Madding said.
