NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    Notice is hereby given to the Citizens of the Civil City of Nappanee, Elkhart County and Kosciusko County, State of Indiana, that the Common Council of the Civil City of Nappanee, on August 3, 2020, either virtually or in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee Municipal Center, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana, at 7:00 PM, will hold a Public Hearing on Ordinance No. 1574 for the purpose of considering the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.

        Appropriation    Reduction

TIF -City Wide Capital Outlays     400,000    0                 TOTAL    400,000    0

    Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (Department). The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken. The proposed form of the Ordinance may be reviewed by contacting the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana 46550, weekdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
