The biggest chunk of the damage came in a 25-2 Panther run that decided the outcome.
Viking senior Tanner Trippiedi did what he could, scoring 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting inside the arc. Trippiedi went 7-of-9 from the free throw stripe, but the rest of the team only had three more attempts, and converted none.
Nolan Cumberland had a three-pointer among his seven points. Dawson Perkins hit a pair of shots to finish with four points, with Braden Shepherd and Tayde Kiser each hitting a shot from beyond the arc to balance the Valley scoresheet.
NorthWood’s Trent Edwards had 13 points, with Ben Vincent, Jamarr Jackson and Brock Flickinger had 10 points each.
NorthWood won the JV game 51-33.
Tippecanoe Valley (8-12) hosts Triton in its final home game of the season Friday.
