You are hereby notified that on the 17th day of March, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Winona Lake Town Hall, 1310 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, Indiana, the Winona Lake Town Council will conduct a hearing in regard to a petition filed by Jared Mellentine and Darla Mellentine for vacation of an unimproved alley in the Original Plat of Winona Park described as follows:
All that portion of the alley lying south of and adjacent to the following described parcel from the west right-of-way of Sunday Lane to the west line of the following parcel projected south:
Beginning at a 5/8-inch iron pin capped "Walker" found at the southeast corner of said lot number 17; thence N89º-48'-00"W (GPS grid bearing and used as the basis of bearings for this description), on and along the south line of lot number 17 and the westerly projection thereof, a distance of 103.74 feet to a 5/8-inch iron pin capped "Walker" found; thence N00º-09'-00"E, a distance of 66.00 feet to a 5/8-inch iron pin capped "Walker" on the westerly projection of the north line of said lot number 16; thence S89º-48'-00"E, on and along said westerly projection on and along said north line, a distance of 103.74 feet to a chiseled "X" found at the northeast corner of said lot number 16; thence S00º-09'-00"W, on and along the east lines of lots numbered 16 and 17, a distance of 66.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.16 acres of land, more or less, subject to all legal right-of-way, subject to all legal drain easements and all other easements of record.
