Youth Auditions Set For Wagon Wheel Summer Season

The Wagon Wheel Theatre announced auditions for youth, ages 9-18, for its 2020 summer season productions of “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Music Man” and “Big The Musical.”
Arrive early March 21 to fill out a form. Auditions for ages 9 to 11 are at 2 p.m., and at 3:30 p.m. for ages 12 to 18 at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
No need to prepare anything. The theater staff will be teaching a short music selection for the audition. Must be available for all rehearsal days and performances. For “Wizard of Oz,” the theater will work around school schedules. The theater will not be able to accommodate any conflicts. See the website for exact performance dates/times.
The Wagon Wheel Theatre is looking for young talent for:
• “The Wizard of Oz,” rehearsal and performance dates are May 18 to June 13. Boys and girls ages 9 to 15, and must be under 4 feet, 10 inches tall.
• “The Music Man,” rehearsal and performance dates are June 18 to July 11. Amaryllis is a girl age 8 to 12, Winthrop is a boy age 8 to 11. Four to five ensemble boys age 8 to 12 also are needed.
• “Big The Musical,” rehearsal and performance dates are July 2 to 25. Billy is a boy age 11 to 15; young Josh is a boy age 11 to 15. A teen ensemble, age 11 to 18, also is needed.
Due to time constraints, the theater cannot accommodate alternate audition times or days. For more information, email [email protected].
The Wagon Wheel Theatre is dedicated to practicing inclusive, diverse and non-traditional casting. All youth from the greater Warsaw Area and beyond is encouraged to attend.

Tiger Football Wins First Ever Regional Championship

The first was simple, as by having the game at home, the Warsaw Football team played host to a regional contest for the first time in school history.
