Predawn fishing on Thursday paid off for Robert Schultz, Jr. when he caught a flathead catfish estimated to be over 60 pounds. It took him 15 minutes to reel in, on 30 pound test line. Schultz used a live bluegill for bait. In the second photo, Schultz returns the catfish to the lake, close to where he caught it, on the northwest side of Pike Lake.
