Crossroads Bank Supports Community During COVID-19

Using the Board Rapid Response Fund, the Community Foundation is providing grants to local agencies serving the emergency needs of Kosciusko County during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Community Foundation has released two rounds of grants from the Board Rapid Response Fund. These grants provided support to local food pantries who are experiencing an increase in the demand for their services as people are laid off, and to local shelter and residential programs experiencing higher costs due to the stay at home order.
The Community Foundation anticipates subsequent waves of relief through additional grants in the coming weeks. The $10,000 donation from Crossroads Bank will allow the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors to continue to respond to community needs resulting from COVID-19.
“Crossroads Bank and our community banking team members are committed to helping our local economies during this unprecedented disruption,” said John Warren, senior vice president of Crossroads Bank. “We are pleased to support the Board Rapid Response Fund of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation to help meet urgent community needs. We appreciate the Community Foundation and the work they are doing to get the funds dispersed.”
Crossroads Bank’s new location at 895 N. Parker St., Warsaw, is scheduled to open this summer.
The Kosciusko County Community Foundation is a public charity that grants about $3 million annually.
