CITY OF NAPPANEE, INDIANA

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

    The City of Nappanee, Indiana will receive bids for the 2020 Microsurface Roadway Maintenance Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications. Bids will be received until 3:30 p.m. local time on May 4th, 2020 in the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, City Hall, 300 W. Lincoln St. Nappanee, IN 46550. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at a regular meeting at 3:30 p.m. local time on May 4th, 2020 in Council Chambers, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, IN 46550.

    The work shall consist of cleaning, crack sealing, and placing Microsurface for streets noted in the contract and all other work necessary for roadway restoration and as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 2020 Microsurface contract documents.

    Contract documents may be ordered via email by contacting the email address [email protected].

    The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of Nappanee, Indiana.

    The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations.

    The City of Nappanee, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids.
