NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION APPROVING STATEMENTS OF BENEFITS OF LOUIS DREYFUS AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRIES, LLC AND PUBLIC HEARING ON SUCH APPROVAL AND ON A REQUEST FOR ADOPTION OF WAIVER

    Notice  is hereby given that on  September  12, 2019; the  Kosciusko  County Council adopted Resolution No. 2019-09-12-004, which Resolution provides is substance as follows:

    The real estate located at 7344 SR 15 South, Claypool, Indiana, as more fully described in the Resolution (''Real  Estate") has been found, declared, and designated to be an economic revitalization  area  as  defined in Ind. Code  §  6-1.1-12.1-1  ("ERA")  in  Resolution  06-05-01 Dreyfus.

    The Kosciusko County Council also declared  that deductions for ten (10) years for. new real estate improvements, new research and development equipment, new manufacturing equipment, new logistical distribution equipment, and new information technology equipment installed in the ERA would be granted for qualified projects.

    A description of the affected area is available and can be inspected in the Kosciusko County Auditor's Office.

    The Kosciusko County Council found that it should approve the Statement of Benefits filed by Louis Dreyfus Agricultural Industries, LLC, ("Company") for qualified projects located on the Real Estate for such 10 year abatement deductions for new manufacturing equipment and new logistical distribution equipment.

    Finally, the Kosciusko County Council resolved to hold a public hearing to consider Company's request for the adoption of a waiver under Ind. Code § 6-1.1-12.1-11.3 regarding the requirement that Statements of Benefits must be approved before the initiation of the project for which a person desires to claim a deduction under Ind. Code § 6-1.1-12.1.

    A public hearing on these matters will be held by the Kosciusko County Council on October 10, 2019, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the Commissioners Courtroom, Courthouse, 100 West Center Street,  Warsaw, Indiana 46580. At this hearing, the Kosciusko  County Council (1) receive and hear all remonstrances and objections from interested persons and (2) shall take final action on the Statements of Benefits and the request for adoption of a waiver under Ind. § 6-1.1-12.1-11.3.
