NAPPANEE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
The City of Nappanee Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana.
The purpose of this Hearing is to hear a Special Exception request, #02-19-SU, filed by Christopher Miller, 602 E. John Street. Nappanee, Indiana. The request is for a Special Exception to allow a home occupation for a knife and blade sharpening business.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY:
Lot Numbered Fifteen (15) as the said Lot is known and designated on the recorded Plat of Parkside Manor Addition to the City of Nappanee, Indiana; said Plat being recorded in Plat Book 3, page 117 in the Office of the Recorder of Elkhart County, Indiana.
A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered.
All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City should contact the Office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana 46550, (574) 773-2112, [email protected] as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
