Trump Turning 90 on May 20

Marie Trump will be celebrating her 90th birthday on Monday.

She was born May 20, 1929, to George and Ethel Besse Messmore in St. Joe County. She has lived most of her life in Koscuisko County.

In 1949 she married Richard “Dick” Trump in Miriam. They have five children: Steve (Rosemary) Trump,  Claypool; Denny (Susan) Trump, Pierceton; Deb (Roger) Thomas, Pierceton; Chuck (Jane) Trump, South Whitley; and Mary (Jeff) Bolinger, Pierceton. They have 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, and expecting one more in July.

Together Marie and her husband ran Northern Gases and Supplies for many years. She worked there until the last few months. She still visits the office most days.

Marie has been involved in many community  organizations, such as 12 years on the Whitko School Board, K-21, United Way and many church boards.
