The Senior Activities Center is at 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw.

Lunch with Real Services is available to those who call by 11 a.m. the day before.

Seniors who need a ride may call Bill at 574-267-2012.

KCSS memberships for 2018 have expired. Stop in and get your 2019 membership for $10.

An indoor yard sale is planned May 10-11. Booth space is $10.  The first 20 people to pay for their space will be provided tables. Call to sign up.



Mondays

Free bread is available first come, first served.

Tuesdays

Mixed euchre, 12:30 p.m.

Wednesdays

Hot breakfast, 9:30 a.m. April 24.

Left, Right, Center, 12:30 p.m. April 10 and 24.

Thursdays

Chair volleyball, 10:30 a.m.

Bingo, 12:30 p.m.

Fridays

Movie day, 10:30 a.m. Movie suggestions are welcome.

April 5 – Movie Day, “Cinderella,” 10:30 a.m.

April 12 – Movie Day, “Old Man & the Gun,” 10:30 a.m.

April 16 – Craft Day. The crafts group will plant flower, herb and vegetable seeds. Call the SAC to sign up.

April 17 – Fun Day,  noon. Mason Rehab will bring the meal; bring a side dish to share if you wish. Bingo will follow.

April 19 – Movie Day, “The Robe,” 10:30 a.m.

April 23 – Seminar, 10:30 a.m. Tish Holmes, program director from Real Services’ Alzheimer’s organization, will discuss local assistance for Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers.

April 26 – Movie Day, “Fielder’s Choice,” 10:30 a.m.

April 30 – Local Lunch Group is going to Richards Restaurant. Bus fee is $3. Call SAC to sign up.

County Jail Bookings The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

Warsaw, Homestead Duel To Scoreless Draw
Homestead and Warsaw met at the Tiger Soccer Complex Wednesday night in a battle of two of the top teams in the northern half of the state. The game was ultra competitive with both sides putting together plenty of chances, but no goals, with the game ending in a 0-0 tie.

County Issues Burn Ban Effective Immediately
Kosciusko County issued a burn ban effective at noon Wednesday. Neighboring Marshall and Fulton counties already had a ban in place.
