Kosciusko County Historical Society invites the public to visit the Old Jail Museum to experience the D-Day exhibit. The exhibit runs from Wednesday through Nov. 30 and can be viewed during the museum’s open hours, Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The exhibit features memorabilia from county men and women who served in the armed forces and also information about those on the home front who aided the war effort. Correspondence from those overseas to loved ones at home can be read. Copies of individual service personnel information can be purchased. Film clips of drafted men going off to war can located by the person’s name and a DVD of the event can also be purchased. Admission is by donation.
