Registration Open For Wagon Wheel Youth Camps

Summer Play: Grades 4-5
Long-time Wagon Wheel star Andy Robinson will take campers through a week built around story theater, crafts and a final performance on the Wagon Wheel stage for family and friends.
This session is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 10-14. It is open to young actors entering grades 4-5. An ability to read at grade level is essential. Students will be expected to memorize lines for the performance on the last day of camp.
Enrollment limited to 30 individuals.
Cost is $150 and includes admission to the 2 p.m. June 13 performance of “Matilda.”
Students should bring snacks for breaks each day.
Summer Songs And Scenes: Grades 6-7
Middle grade students will create a wholly original piece of theater with instructors Andy Robinson and Emily Luhrs.
The session is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 18-22. It is open to young actors entering grades 6-7. Students will be expected to memorize lines for the performance on the last day of camp.
Enrollment is limited to 30.
Cost is $150 and includes two tickets to “Peter and the Starcatcher” on Aug.
Students should bring a sack lunch and snacks for breaks each day.
Musical Theater Workshop: Grades 8-12
Working alongside industry professionals, students in this workshop will get training in acting, singing and dancing. The 11-day camp will culminate in a fully realized musical production.
Auditions for specific roles will be on the first day of camp.
The session is from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 3 to July 13, except July 7, when there will be an evening rehearsal. It is open to young actors entering grades 8-12. Enrollment is limited to 25 individuals.
The performance will be at 1 p.m. July 13 at the Wagon Wheel Theatre.
Cost for the workshop is $250, which includes admission to the 2 p.m. performance of Oklahoma on July 11.
Students should bring a sack lunch and snacks for breaks.
