And they’re coming to Syracuse March 22-24 when Wawasee High School presents “The Addams Family” as its spring musical.
Times are 7 p.m. March 22-23 and 2 p.m. March 24.
All seats are reserved. Adults are $10, and students and senior citizens are $8. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at [email protected], or call the high school at 574-457-3147 to reserve tickets.
According to a news release from Wawasee, “Our WHS cast will portray the Addams Family characters that many will recognize from both the television series and the more recent movies. The Addams family members, ancestors and visitors are darkly quirky and at times side-splitting hilarious. It is a story of weird meets mundane as the eldest Addams, Wednesday, falls in love with a seemingly normal young man. The two families ultimately collide in a series of events and in the process learn a lot about themselves and the importance of family.”
It also says the cast and crew have been “feverishly” working to perfect their singing, dancing acting and theatrical set.
Cast members include Evan Coblentz as Gomez Addams, with Nick Lesko as his understudy; Cali Willaman as Morticia Addams, with Taylor Cripe as her understudy; Bronwyn Bonner as Wednesday Addams; Serena Lesko, Grandma; Devin VanLue, Pugsley Addams; Dylan Minear as Lurch, with Robert Schmucker as his understudy; Nick Lesko as Mal Beneke, with Schmucker as his understudy; Genevieve Cierpilowski as Alice Beineke, with Macie Stuckman as her understudy; Jared Krugman as Lucas Beineke; Cory Dunivan, Uncle Fester; Bri Stewart, The Moon; and Windsor Bonner, little Wednesday.
The Ancestors are being played by Andrik Bautista, Claire Beer, Anna Clark, Taylor Cripe, Cassidy Elder, Lila Fierek, Kasey Gunkel, Leina Helfers, Serena Lesko, Robert Schmucker, Tiara Seearamroongruang, Trinity Smeltzer, Rachael Sweatland, Bri Stewart, Macie Stuckman, Bekah Whirledge and Ana Wolferman.
