Audio books are also good companions for multitasking, enabling a person to listen to a book while driving, exercising, doing chores or just relaxing. They are a good fit for those who have difficulty reading.
The North Webster Community Public Library has recently added many new audio books to its collection. Patrons will find current titles by popular authors and a variety of fiction and non-fiction genres. Stop in and check out the new arrivals.
Whether you prefer listening or reading, Voyager Book Club will meet at 10 a.m. Monday to discuss nonfiction books.
In this book club, everyone reads or listens to a book of their choice within the assigned genre and shares with the group. The book club is open to all adults.

Later that day at 1:30 p.m., adults can enjoy another good story at the Movie Matinee. Showing is a 1968 comedy about a blended family of 18 children. Bring snacks and spend the afternoon at the movies.
The kids can also watch a free movie at 5 p.m. Feb. 28 when the youth department shows a 2018 animated adventure that turns the bigfoot legend upside down when a young yeti discovers a human. The movie is rated PG and runs 96 minutes with free popcorn served.
“Revolving Recipe Round-Up” meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Prepare a “presidential-style” dish and bring it for sampling and sharing along with the recipe. The library provides the table service and coffee.
The library’s Local History and Genealogy Center would like to complete its collection of Wawasee High School Legend yearbooks, but is lacking the yearbook for the graduating year 2000. If anyone has a 2000 Wawasee High School Legend yearbook and would be willing to donate it, then the library will have a complete set.
Donations can be brought to the circulation desk or dropped in the donation box located inside the North Webster Community Center near the library entrance.
