In the next paragraph, the story quoted the WARN letter sent by the company to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development as reading “Due to a sudden decrease in business from a large customer for Assemble Wire Test work, KGP anticipates conducting a permanent reduction in force of approximately 300 employees at its Warsaw, Indiana facilities.”
KGP General Counsel Matthew Drevlow requested the Times-Union clarify the issue, He said that the layoffs “are due to a general reduction in business.”
The Times-Union regrets any confusion on the issue.
