Sabrina N. Brown has been promoted to vice president, retail loan officer. In this position, Brown underwrites home equity lines of credit and consumer loans and provides customer service. She also works with compliance for the Consumer Loan department. She has been with the bank for eight years.
Brown has a bachelor’s degree in management from Grace College and attended Ivy Tech Community College. She volunteers and serves as secretary and executive board member for Haiti Hungry No More, and as co-treasurer for the Warsaw Noon Optimist Club. Brown also volunteers for Great Lakes Caring.
Shannan Hepler has been promoted to vice president, One-Call Center and electronic banking manager. In this position, Hepler oversees both the One-Call Center and electronic banking departments and supports staff in their efforts to provide quality service. She has been with the bank for 23 years.
Hepler attended Manchester College. She volunteers for Junior Achievement, the Lake City Bank Reality Store, Mobile Meals and Triton Community Schools.

SYM Financial Advisors announced an award and a promotion this week
Kris Black, CPA, was the recipient of SYM’s annual President’s Award. SYM’s board of directors presents this award annually to the company’s “most valuable player.”
Black joined SYM in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington. She was recently promoted to the role of chief financial officer.
SYM also promoted Betsy Didier, FPQPTM, to the role of senior client service representative. Didier joined SYM in June 2015.

Conner Recognized For 5 Years Of Service
Debbie Conner recently was recognized for five years of service at the North Webster Community Public Library. The recognition was announced by Library Director Helen Frank.
Joining the library staff in February 2014, Conner is responsible for checking out and shelving books and materials, assisting with programs, organizing supplies, helping patrons and other assigned duties in the Youth Services Department.
Prior to joining the library staff, Conner was a financial institution data conversion specialist in the banking industry. A Syracuse native, she spent most of her professional life in the southeast region of the United States, returning to the Syracuse area upon retiring from the banking industry.

Mason Healthcare And Rehabilitation Names Employee, Leader Of The Year
Mason Health and Rehabilitation, 900 Provident Drive, Warsaw, announced this week Janice Hyde was selected as employee of the year for 2018 and Heather Winkle was selected leader of the year.
Hyde has been serving the residents at Mason for 20 years as a CNA and QMA. Winkle has been with Mason for 10 years. In 2018, Winkle transferred from life enrichment assistant into admissions and internal marketing. In addition, she also works as a CNA and QMA when needed.
Both winners were selected by their peers through a voting process. Hyde competed against 11 other employee-of-the-month winners and Winkle received the most votes amongst the leadership team within Mason Health Care.

Kosciusko Cares Youth Services and the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce invite the public to network and learn about Kosciusko Cares prevention initiatives in the community from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at the K21 Health Pavilion, 1515 Provident Drive, Warsaw.
