NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION TO VACATE PUBLIC WAY

STATE OF INDIANA

COUNTY OF KOSCIUSKO

IN RE THE PETITION  TO VACATE PUBLIC WAY,

ANDREW  BRUNSON a nd

CARRIE BRUNSON , Petitioners

BEFORE THE TOWN  COUNCIL OF SILVER  LAKE

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that Andrew Brunson and Carrie  Brunson, as petitioners, have filed a verified Petition to Vacate a Public Way with the Town of Silver Lake seeking  the vacation of a public way, which Petition  has been set for hearing  before the Town of Silver Lake on the 11th day of September, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. The hearing will be held in the Town Offices of the Town of Silver Lake, Indiana, located at 604 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, IN 46982. The public way for which vacation is sought is situated in Kosciusko County, State of Indiana in the Town of Silver Lake, and is wholly contained in and more particularly described  as follows:

    Lot Number 9 in Courtland Park, as recorded in Plat Book 3, page 379, in the records of the Kosciusko  County, Indiana Recorder, together  with the area between said Lot 9 and the edge of water of Silver Lake, being more particularly described as follows:

    Beginning  at the Southwest Corner of said Lot 9, marked by an iron rebar stake with "JHS RLS 80040428" identification; thence South 89 degrees 18 minutes  51 seconds  West, grid bearing (North American Datum 1983, Indiana East Zone), on and a long the southerly line of said Lot and an extension  thereof, a distance  of 40.72 feet to the edge of water of Silver Lake; thence  North 02 degrees 28 minutes  36 seconds West, along the shoreline of Silver Lake, a Distance of 26.51 feet; thence North 78 degrees 49 minutes 54 seconds East, a distance  of 39.96 Feet to the Northwest  Corner of said Lot; thence South 04 degrees 30 Minutes 46 Seconds East, a distance  of 33.85 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing  1211 square feet, more or less. Subject  to a ll easements,  rights of way and restrictions of record .

    ANY PERSON desiring  to be heard may file an objection or comments with the Clerk- Treasurer of the Town of Silver Lake, Indiana and any person may appear at said  hearing to be heard in support

or objection  to the Petition  filed herein. The hearing may be continued  by the Town Council without further public notice. A copy of the petition is on file in the office of the Clerk - Treasurer  of the Town of Silver Lake,  Indiana.

Two more area teams began their respective girls basketball seasons at the Hardwood Teepee Wednesday night, as Wawasee hosted Manchester in a cross-county matchup.
