Leesburg Oswego Alumni

Leesburg Oswego Alumni will hold its annual banquet  May 18 at Leesburg Grace Brethren Church, 101W. School St., Leesburg.

Social time/visiting will begin at 4 p.m., with a catered dinner at 5:30 p.m. Entertainment with Tyler Claycomb and Judy Meulink will follow the dinner.

Cost is $15 per person for all graduates, friends and anyone who would like to attend.

Send payment by May 13 to Mary Wildman Redman, 4860 N. 175 E., Leesburg, IN 46538. Graduates of Leesburg are asked to put the year of their class on their check.



Mentone High School

The Mentone High School Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting and banquet at the Mentone Elementary School on May 19.

The event will begin with social time at 11:30 a.m., followed by dinner at 12:30 p.m. Honor classes include the classes of 1969, 1959 and 1949.

Any individual who attended the Mentone School is encouraged to attend whether or not they graduated.

Cost for the meal is $17.50. Reservations are required and are due by May 11. Send them to Alice Keirn, 1104 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, IN 46580; or phone 574-267-3092.  

Make checks out to MHS Alumni Association.

Following dinner and special entertainment by Sharon Dillman, the newly published MHS History Book will be available for pickup in the lobby of the school for those who preordered the book. Extra copies of the limited-edition book were ordered and will be for sale for $20.

Book pickups and sales will also be available from 9 a.m. to noon May 20 at Creighton’s Crazy Egg Café, Old 30 West, Warsaw; at Bell Memorial Library in Mentone from 9 a.m. to noon May 25; and at the Mentone Egg Festival information booth from 4 to 7 p.m. May 31.

Books will also be available (for sale only) after the banquet at the Old Jail Museum, 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
