‘Adding Mixed Media’ Workshop Planned May 9

SILVER LAKE – April 18 is the deadline to register for the May 9 pen and ink workshop "Adding Mixed Media" taught by award-winning pen and ink artist Brenda Ramseier.

The workshop, hosted by the Wabash Art Guild, will explore methods of incorporating watercolors and/or colored pencils into ink drawings. It will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 9 at The Art Giraffe Studio/Gallery, one mile south of Disco on the Wabash/Miami County Line Road (GPS address:  11063N 800W, Silver Lake, 46982).

Ramseier, an art teacher retired from the Maconaquah School Corp., offers art classes in her home studio/ gallery,  The Art Giraffe.  She has exhibited her work in shows across Indiana and won many awards, including several Best of Show placements. She was named Akron Arts League 2014 Artist of the Year.

Participants may bring a sack lunch and enjoy the camaraderie of exploring art techniques with other artists. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
