Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department announced this morning two headliners for concerts this summer at Glover Pavilion at Central Park, 225 E. Fort Wayne St.

Little River Band will headline the classic rock concert at 6:30 p.m. June 14. The evening’s activities will begin with a performance by the winner of WRSW 107.3’s Local Star Search competition.

The Country Concert For St. Jude will feature national recording artist Montgomery Gentry at 6:30 p.m. July 19. That evening also begins with a performance from a local Star Search competition, sponsored by Willie 103.5.

Details on how to enter either of the contests will be released by the respective radio stations Tuesday.

Both shows, and the remainder of the concert series, are free to the public. Attendees are encouraged to plan to come early and bring lawn chairs or blankets. Coolers will be permitted, but no alcohol or pets are permitted in the park. Vendors will have snacks and soft drinks for sale.
