Warsaw High School Class Of 1954

The Warsaw High School Class of 1954 met recently at Richards Restaurant.

In attendance were Jerry and Connie Craig, Mary Lou LaSuer, Katherine Deerwester, Bob Cozzi, Ken Schaaf, Larry and Linda Kinsey, and Charlie and Bonnie Morehead.

All classmates are invited to lunch at noon Nov. 17 at Richards.



Warsaw High School Class Of 1958

The Warsaw High School Class of 1958 recently celebrated its 60-year reunion.

The classmates met on Friday and Saturday evenings, spending lots of time visiting and getting caught up on what has taken place the last few years. Classmates came from as far as Port of Spain, Trinidad; California; Florida; and other states for a total of 35. With spouses and others guests there were 58 in attendance. A special guest was a former teacher, Ethel Anderson.     

Classmates brought many photos, newspaper articles, a letter jacket and other memorabilia to peruse and reminisce throughout the evening.

The class numbered 113 graduates in 1958. Since then, 36 have died, and they were memorialized during the Saturday evening event.

The class met every five years up to and including the 40-year reunion, then went to every 10 years.

Several questioned about a 70-year reunion, and the response was a positive "Go for it."

The Warsaw High School Class of 1959 met for lunch Oct. 17 at American Table Restaurant.

Those attending the luncheon were Deanne Gregory, Millicent Schumanm, Howard Smith, Lonnie Coffing, Bonnie Adams, Susan Brown, Faye Wagner, Jerry and Shelby Aylor, Jon and Linda Swoverland, Linda and Richard Knap, Denny and Millicent Andrews, David and Mary McCleary, Dennis and Pat Hover, Chuck and Joyce Wood, Dick McCleary, Doug and Linda Konkle, and Priscilla Conley.

The next luncheon will be at 1 p.m. March 20 at the American Table.

Warsaw High School Class of 1961 met for lunch Sept. 21 at the Boathouse Restaurant.

Those attending were Linda Roberts, Viv Kelly, Joan Helser and friend Fred, Stan and Linda Phillips, Diane Poort, John Fitzsimmons, Dave Wolkins, Bob Craig, Bob Downing, Linda VanOsdol, Bob and Linda Hile, and a special guest from Oregon, classmate “Noje” (Norma Jean Weckler) and Reed Fitkin.

The class will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday — Halloween — at Bob Evans. Come in costume if you like.
