Hamman Among Top RE/MAX Producers

Kathy Hamman of RE/MAX Results in Warsaw ranked No. 1 overall in the RE/MAX Midwest Indiana Region for total transaction sides closed in October.

Hamman has been working in the real estate industry for nearly 18 years and has extensive experience in residential and farm properties. Terry DuPont of DuPont Wealth Management, 313 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, recently anno-unced he’s doing a podcast called Real Wealth Weekly on the Real Wealth Advisor Network.

Each podcast will features nationally recognized guests and industry experts who will share important information.

Brian Peterson Group Hosts Ribbon Cutting

Brian Peterson Real Estate opened its new office at 2008 E. Center St. with a ribbon-cuttng ceremony recently. The new office is  right next door to their previous location.

The growth of the agency has been a key factor in the decision to construct a new building, as well as the desire to expand on high-level customer service in a new office layout with improved technology. Brian Peterson Real Estate has operated in the community for nearly 10 years.

Goodwill December Career Center Schedule

Goodwill’s Warsaw Career Center, 751 Anchorage Point Drive,  announced its December class schedule this week.

The center offers monthly digital skills workshops that can be completed in increments, with assessments and certifications upon completion. Clients will prepare for a future in a growing business and manufacturing world that demands more digital literacy and online/ tech skills.

Open Practice Interviews – 11 a.m. to noon Monday and Dec. 17.

The Goodwill Career Center will host open mock interviews for anyone who would like to practice their interview skills. Clients nervous about interviews or struggling to land a job because of the interview process will prepare for the types of questions (from basic to personal) that could be asked.

Discussions will focus on how to answer the difficult questions, and what to avoid. Clients will also learn how to appear confident and highlight skills in the conversation. We’ll also cover how personal appearance makes a great first impression in an interview.

Participants will receive a 25 percent discount card to the adjacent Goodwill Retail Store.

Find Your Ideal Job – 11 a.m. to noon Dec. 12

Would you like to hone in on what your interests are? Are you unsure of a career path? This workshop pinpoints your interests and what field of work best matches them. It will also delve into possible positions and opportunities that are out there today, check on forecasted pay grades, and lay out options for finding the career you want to pursue.

Build A Better Resume – 11 a.m. to noon Dec. 13.

Need a resume or have one that’s old, outdated or just needs a little more juice? This workshop focuses on giving you the tools and advice to spruce it up and attract more attention.

We can also take this time to lay the foundation for a brand new resume for those who don’t have one. We’ll review formatting, wording, key sections to highlight and overall organization.

When complete, you’ll have a clean, robust resume that will give an employer an impactful first impression of you, your skills and employment history.

Veterans Employment Services – 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 20.

Daniel Reed from WorkOne will be at the Goodwill Career Center to provide information to veterans in the local area. He will offer one-on-one employment help, employer resources, information on benefits and contacts for further services.
