Holiday Activities Abound In Nappanee

The Nappanee Public Library, 1527 N. Main St., has the following activities scheduled for next week:

Family Make And Take – Mnday through Dec. 8, The Cube hours, all ages.

Stop by anytime during library "Cube" hours and make a DIY Mason Jar Lid Ornament. Instructions and supplies will be provided. Limit 2 per person. No registration necessary.

Rock Band – 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday. Teens

“Rock Band” is coming to The Cube.

Rock Band offers the unique social play of a full band experience, featuring a next-gen microphone, wireless drums and a guitar. Add your personal signature to every performance with a sound track featuring some of the world’s best hits. No registration necessary.

Alzheimer’s And Dementia Caregiver Support Group

The group will meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday for adults  to get information, share and support from others who are caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. No registration necessary.

Pushing The Limits: Privacy

Join us for a discussion of the book, “I’ll be Gone in the Dark” by Michelle McNamara from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Anyone who registers will receive a free copy of the book.

Pushing the Limits combines fiction and nonfiction books, author videos, and discussions to explore how humans push their own limits every day. Pushing the Limits is funded by a grant from Rural Gateways.

Tween Thursday

Come to The Cube from 4 to 5 p.m. Dec. 6 to make unique, fun Christmas cards to share with your loved ones during the holidays. All materials and snacks will be provided.

Visit With Santa

Celebrate the Holiday season with a visit from Santa Claus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 8.

During his visit, Santa will pose for pictures on his sleigh, listen to children’s Christmas wishes, and spread holiday cheer. Bring your own camera. Visitors are responsible for their own pictures but staff will be available to assist. No registration necessary.

Movies In The Park: “A Christmas Story”

Bring your family, friends, chairs and blankets for the free screening of “A Christmas Story” beginning at 8 p.m. Dec. 8. at the downtown pavilion.

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No registration necessary.
