The following programs are set to take place in December at the Warsaw Community Public Library:

• The 11th Annual Photography Contest will be accepting photos from Saturday until Dec. 15.

• Chess Club meets from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday.

• Cookbook Club will host a cookie exchange at 11 a.m. Monday.

• Times-Union reporter and part-time author Mark Howe will host a book signing for his story in “Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Wonder of Christmas” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday.

• IND Career Connect Resume with WorkOne at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Registration is required.

• Join Tina Ray and learn how to paint stencil designs on wood at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The cost is $10 each or three for $25. Registration is required.

• Drop-In Zone, featuring video games and virtual reality is Wednesday. Teens in grades 6-12 play from  3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and adults, ages 18-plus, play from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.

• Kathy Balke from IAHE will host a homeschooling workshop at 10 a.m. Thursday.  Regisration is required.

• Friends of the Library Mini Book Sale from 10:30 a.m.  to 1:30 p.m. Dec 8.

• Santa visits the library from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 8.

• Writers Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Dec 10.

• Make ornaments class at 5 p.m.  Dec 11. Lots of choices available, and prices vary.  Registration is required.

• Computer Clinic meets 10 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 12 and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 26. Bring your electronics for assistance.

• Pokémon Club meets at 4 p.m. Dec 12. Play the Pokémon trading card game or bring cards to display and trade.

• Robert A. Hudson will host a book signing for two of his latest releases from 6 to  7:45 p.m. Dec. 12.

• The Lake City Piece-makers quilt club meets at 9:15 a.m. Dec 14.

• Bingo at the Library for all ages from 2-3 p.m. Dec. 14.

• Board Game Club meets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec 15.

• Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to play Minecraft at 4 p.m. Dec 17.

• Paint “Winter Glow” with artist Carl Mosher will be at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 17. The  $20 cost is due at registration.

• Conquering Age Barriers with WorkOne at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 18.  Registration is required.

• Yarn Club meets at 6 p.m. Dec 18. Learn to knit/crochet and share patterns/advice.

• Microsoft Excel Basics with WorkOne at 10:30 a.m. Dec 21. Registration is required.

• Enjoy a popular family movie at 10 a.m. Dec. 27.  Call or go online for title. Rated PG.
