Lake City Bank announced the following promotions this week:
Jenny D. Escobedo has been promoted to real estate appraisal officer. In this position, Escobedo reviews appraisals, evaluations and environmental reports. She also assists with validating previous appraisals. She has been with the bank for six years.
Escobedo has a certificate from the Ken Beer School of Real Estate. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, the Food Bank of Northern Indiana and the Lake City Bank Reality Store.
Rhonda Frank has been promoted to payroll and benefits officer. In this position, Frank works with employees to provide payroll and benefit administration. She joined the bank about a year ago.
Frank has a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. She has also earned SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. She serves as communications director for the Kosciusko Human Resources Association and as president-elect for the Milestones Early Education Center Board. She also volunteers with Junior Achievement.
Kelsey M. Jenkins has been promoted to senior loan administration officer. In this position, Jenkins assists commercial banking officers in preparing for loan closings, communicating with customers and performing due diligence. She has been with the bank for six years.
Jenkins has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (now Purdue University Fort Wayne). She volunteers with Junior Achieve-ment.
Tana J. Johnson has been promoted to ITM and One Call Center officer. In this position, Johnson supports One Call Center representatives in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She also manages the daily operations of the ITM area. She has been with the bank for 11 years. Johnson volunteers with the Enchanted Hills Community Association teaching Money Smart classes.
Natalie M. Ousley has been promoted to One Call Center officer. In this position, Ousley manages the daily operations of the One Call Center and supports representatives in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 14 years.
Ousley has a bachelor’s degree from Anderson University. She volunteers with the Enchanted Hills Community Association teaching Money Smart classes and with Junior Achievement.
Tiffany R. Peterson has been promoted to merchant and cardholder ser-vices officer. In this position, Peterson works with prospective clients during the sales process, identifying their unique needs and determining appropriate solutions. She has been with the bank for seven years.
Peterson graduated from Rudae’s School of Beauty Culture. She serves as a board member for One Warsaw. Peterson is a member of Young Adult Professionals and the Midwest Acquirers Association. She volunteers with the Lake City Bank Reality Store.
Grant R. Toney has been promoted to treasury management implementation officer. In this position, Toney provides customer support throughout the product implementation process and handles client billing and account analysis. He has been with the bank for three years.
Toney attended Indiana University and Grace College.
Titus Hires Sara Curtis
Titus Funeral Home announced this week that Sara Curtis has joined its team as administrative assistant.
Curtis will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the funeral home’s front office. Her duties include greeting visitors to the funeral home in addition to organizing and maintaining funeral-related records. Her background includes similar positions with Mishawaka Schools and Kaser-Spraker Construction.
Curtis holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Bethel College and is married to Warsaw Community High School’s head football coach, Bart Curtis. The pair, who call Warsaw home, have three adult children: Michael, Hannah and Brian and a dog, Molly.
Lindeman Joins AcceLINX
AcceLINX announced this week the addition of Phil Lindeman to its team in research and development.
AcceLINX President She-ryl Conley, said the addition of Lindeman augments existing expertise in research and development, new product design, commercialization, manufacturing/ operations, intellectual property, distribution, reimbursement and grant writing.
“We are pleased to add Phil’s specialized expertise to our already broad range of skills and experiences from the orthopedic medical device industry,” said Conley. “His background in human factors and industrial design offers AcceLINX clients another resource for differentiating their products in the market.”
Lindeman has 30 years of new product development experience in consumer, commercial and medical device markets. He has spent the last eight years heading up the industrial design and human factors group for DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction and Power Tools.
While at DePuy Synthes, he chaired the Global Orthopedics ID+HF Community of Practice, which included human-centered designers from DePuy Synthes’ trauma, spine and sports medicine businesses. Prior to serving in that role, he held leadership positions within Motorola and Whirlpool’s global consumer design studios.
Lindeman holds a BFA in industrial design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Business. He also holds 45 design and utility patents in the consumer electronics, home white goods and medical devices industries.

Sexton Joins RE/MAX Results In Warsaw
RE/MAX Results announced that Billie Sexton has joined the Warsaw office.
Sexton is a graduate of Grace Baptist Christian School in Plymouth. She lives in Mentone with her husband, Clyde. They have five children and three granddaughters. They are members of God's Highway to Heaven Church.
Sexton previously worked for the Marshall County Plan Commission and Building Department in Plymouth for several years before moving to Georgia to work for a large retail property management company. She returned to Indiana and became a licensed CNA at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw.
After taking a year off to care for her elderly parents, Sexton decided the time had come to pursue her dream of a career in real estate.
"I take pride in working at RE/MAX Results. The mentor program they provide is outstanding. It sets a person up for success," Sexton said. “I look forward to serving this community and seeing others live their dreams."

WishBone Medical, Inc. announced this week the acxquisition of Red Star Contract Manufacturing to provide sterile packaging and plastic injection molded single use instrument capabilities for its pediatric orthopedic market.

Northern Indiana Public Service Company LLC announced Friday the selection of Jennifer V. Montague as its vice president of communications and external affairs.
She will report to NIPSCO President Violet Sistovaris and be based at the company’s headquarters in Merrillville beginning Monday.
