The Syracuse Library is closing on Monday in commemoration of Veterans Day.

Much historical fiction and historic commentary has been written. The library encourages everyone to read about war-time experiences. November is the annual reminder that it is possible for anyone to write a story.

The Syracuse Library offers encouragement to writers by hosting a monthly writing workshop that meets at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 17. Poets, children’s authors, personal enjoyment writers and aspiring professional writers all have a place at the table.
