Free Movie Matinee Featured At North Webster Community Public Library

The library will be showing a 1984 musical drama about a city boy who moves to a small town where dancing and rock-n-roll are banned. The movie is rated PG and runs one hour 50 minutes. Bring snacks and beverages and sit back to enjoy this American classic.

Make a snowman out of socks at the Adult Craft Class at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Instructor Teresa Zurcher will show you how. The class is free with all supplies provided. However, pre-registration is required with limited space left, so sign up soon at the circulation desk or call 574-834-7122.
The library holds an adult craft class the second Tuesday every month with a different craft planned each month.
The last session of Let’s Move will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 15. This informal class uses dancing for exercise. It’s free and participants have fun getting a great workout by dancing to a variety of music and learning new dance steps. Adults of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to attend. Let’s Move will resume Jan. 10.
Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to Lego Club at 1 p.m. Saturday. Held the second Saturday each month, Lego Club gives kids the opportunity to have fun using their imaginations building with Legos. Parents are encouraged to join in, too. Legos are provided with no registration needed.
The library provides a new and easier way to download e-books, magazines and audiobooks from E-Indiana Overdrive onto mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones.
