By Bell, Books and More-

Here’s a list of upcoming activities for November at Bell Memorial Public Library in Mentone:

NaNoWriMo?

What is NaNoWriMo?

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing.

Beginning today, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. Nov. 30.

Valuing enthusiasm, deter mination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.

If you’d like to register to sign up go to the website https://nanowrimo.org/  and they’ll walk you through it! You don’t have to register to take part, the goal is to have fun and write

The librarians here at Bell would love to hear about your book, or story ideas.

• Join us on Nov. 12 for Movie Monday.  We will be showing “Pumpkin Wars”.  Popcorn and beverage provided.

• Have you heard of Hoopla?  It’s a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, e-Books, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet or phone.

With no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later; titles cannot be downloaded to computers.

• Do you love fitness?  If so, join us every Wednesday evening for Zumba and yoga.

Zumba begins at 5:30 p.m. and yoga begins at 6:45 p.m.  For more information, contact Eva Mudd at 574-253-5593 or evamudd@ yahoo.com.

• The library is circulating an internet hotspot. These devices are about the size of a large cell phone and connect the user to the internet via cellphone towers.

For more information, contact Stephen Boggs at 574-353-7234 or via e-mail at [email protected].
