Encourage the children in your life to share their summer success with us at the library and participate in our free programs. A variety of upcoming children’s programs and special events celebrate music, magic, Minecraft and more.
Have you heard about story time? We now offer a summer season.
Three weekly programs at the library are tailored for children from birth to age 6: Monday with Teddy for babies at 9:30 a.m.; Toddler Tuesday for new walkers and talkers at 10 a.m.; and Preschool Story Time for confident walkers and talkers from age 3 to 6 at 10 a.m. on Thursdays. Caregivers are encouraged to participate, and younger or older family members are welcome.
Stories in the Park, our outdoor all-ages story time, happens at 11 a.m. on Mondays. Enjoy interactive stories, songs and rhymes with special guest readers. Stay for free lunch nearby, courtesy of the Warsaw Community Schools Summer Food Service Program. Stories in the Park meets at the Central Park West Shelter every Monday in June and at the Winona Lake Limitless Park shelter every Monday in July.
The library also offers drop-in programs geared toward children of elementary school age.
