Brandy Brady has joined CTB Inc. as shared services manager, according to Randy Eveler, vice president and chief financial officer for the company.
Brady’s responsibilies include leading and managing the company’s accounts payable and payroll areas to ensure best practice and compliance with CTB’s organizational goals and budget.
She brings 10 years of experience with payroll and accounts payable management, serving most recently as a corporate payroll manager in the custom truck body, recreational vehicle and manufactured housing industries.
Brady is a graduate of Goshen College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leader ship. A graduate of the American Payroll Institute, San Antonio, Texas, she is a Certified Payroll Professional and has Fundamental Payroll Certification.
Brady resides in Syracuse.
Sjolin Joins Brock
Don Sjolin has been named vice president and general manager of Brock Grain Systems, according to Victor A. Mancinelli, chairman and chief executive officer for CTB Inc.
In his new role, Sjolin will be responsible for leading and providing strategic direction for Brock Grain Systems through the oversight of sales, manufacturing and the company’s extensive worldwide network of independent dealers and distributors.
Sjolin comes to Brock with broad experience in general management, including president and chief operating officer positions, as well as holding senior level positions in sales, marketing, product development and business development. His management experience draws from several industries, including the production of composite materials, firefighting and fire protection equipment, electronics and automated material handling equipment.
Sjolin’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree earned from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
He currently resides in Grand Rapids, Mich., with his wife and two sons. Sjolin plans to relocate with his family to the Milford area.
Lake City Announces Promotion, Transfer
Lake City Bank announced a promotion and a transfer this week.
Kimberly K. Mattke has been promoted to technology services officer. In this new role, Mattke oversees monthly and annual security audits and tracks the technology services department budget and asset inventory.
Mattke most recently served as a technology support specialist. She has been with the bank for 12 years.
Mattke is a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1355, and volunteers for the organization.
Sheryl L. Harlan has transferred to its Winona Lake office, where she serves as assistant vice president, retail banking officer.
In this position, Harlan supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She also manages the daily operations of the office and handles small business and consumer loans.
She most recently served as retail banking officer of the bank’s Pierceton office. She has been with the bank for 10 years.
Harlan volunteers with Junior Achievement and is a graduate of Kosciusko Leadership Academy.
Zurcher Added To North Webster Library Staff
The North Webster Community Public Library announced this week the appointment of Teresa Zurcher as adult services assistant.
In her new position, she is responsible for assisting the adult services director with adult programming.
A Tippecanoe Township resident for the past 27 years, Zurcher retired last year from North Webster Elementary School after 14 years of teaching. She graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grace College in Winona Lake.
“We welcome Teresa to our staff. She will be a valuable asset as we develop new programs for our adult patrons,” said Adult Services Director Beth Smith.
Zurcher says she looks forward to meeting new people and getting involved in library programs. She and her husband Rob reside on Irish Lake and have two grown children. She enjoys scrapbooking, genealogy and quilting in her spare time.
Dollar General Completes Remodel Of Akron Location
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – Dollar General announced it recently completed a remodel of its store at 202 N. Noyer Drive, Akron.
With an updated layout and design, the store now offers a selection of expanded frozen and refrigerated food offerings in addition to the same categories, brands and products customers trust Dollar General to carry.
