Two New Shows Announced At Honeywell Center In Wabash

WABASH – A little bit of country and a little bit of Christian entertainment is making its way to the Honeywell Center as two new shows are announced.

Performing at 7:30 p.m. April 18 will be Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum artist Aaron Lewis. Lewis will perform songs from his most recent album "Sinner", including "That Ain't Country,” according to a news release from Honeywell.

Tickets for the concert are $75, $45 and $30.

Coming May 20 at 7:30 p.m. will be Sidewalk Prophets with its Something Different Tour.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The Sidewalk Prophets were named as the Dove Award Winners for best new artist in 2010.

Sidewalk Prophets embraces the contemporary Christian pop/rock genre. The group’s creative songwriting remains rooted in deep faith-based lyrics, integrating worship with real life, according to the news release. The Honeywell Center lobby will be part of the experience and feature arcade games, merchandise and World Vision tables.

Sidewalk Prophets got their start at Anderson University.

Support of this program is provided in part by the Halderman Hipsher Christian Program Endowment. Tickets are $45, $25 and $15.
