CSCT To Present ‘The Mousetrap’ April 19-22
January 24, 2018 at 8:13 p.m.
By Staff Report-
Set in the winter of 1952, the day after a murder in nearby London, “The Mousetrap” focuses on Mollie and Giles Ralston (Leonelle Condinho and Christopher Priest, respectively), a young married couple opening a guesthouse. A snowstorm has trapped the Ralstons in the house along with a plethora of guests: Mrs. Boyle (Lori Widman), Christopher Wren (Justin Weaver), Miss Casewell (Melissa Jordan), Major Metcalf (Gordon Petty), and unexpected guest Mr. Paravicini (Gerald Cox).
To everyone’s surprise, Detective Sergeant Trotter (Phillip Olson) shows up claiming there is a murderer at the guesthouse. As suspicions and tensions grow, the audience is taken on a journey to discover who the murderer is and who the next victim will be, according to a news release from the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
Director Emilie Judy, assistant director Theresa Daggett and stage manager Katie Smallegan are working behind the scenes to make this production one of the best that Center Street Community Theatre has done yet, the release states.
The show is sponsored by Kosciusko Community Hospital and will run April 19-21 at 7:30 p.m. and April 22 at 2 p.m. at the Wagon Wheel.
Tickets can be purchased for $15 at the box office by calling 574-267-8041, 866-823-2618 or online at www.WagonWheelCenter.org.
