Vocal Motion Show Is Friday

SYRACUSE – Wawasee High School Vocal Motion will present its 2018 competition show to the public at 7 p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium.

The theme of this year’s show is New York City.

The show is free to the public. Donations will be accepted after the show to defray the group’s competition costs.

Vocal Motion is in its third year of competition.

In 2017, the group won People’s Choice Award at both the Homestead and Norwell Competitions. The group also garnered Best Stage Crew Award, and first runner up-at Norwell.

This year, the group will compete at Huntington on Feb. 24, Churubusco on March 3 and Norwell on March 10.

The group consists of 15 singers, 10 instrumentalists and five stage crew members. Dance captain is Payton Vandiver.

Vocal Motion is directed by Connie Meadows and choreographed by Damon Brown.
