Short, But Exciting Week In Syracuse

The Syracuse Library is closed on Monday so the staff can enjoy the honor of Labor Day.

Programming and services start up on Tuesday morning with Pyramid Easy Chair Yoga at 10:15 a.m. New people can join at any time.

Kids Book Club is reading the book and watching the movie, Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. 3rd-through 5th graders are invited on the first Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m.

Babies and toddlers, ages 6 months to 3 years, meet on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. to learn about farms and farm animals and begin twelve weeks of fun activities.

WorkOne continues to offer training services. Save a trip to Warsaw by visiting them on Wednesdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Sept. 6 starts with an early morning on the trails at 9 a.m. Advanced chair yoga meets at 9:30 a.m.

The Friends of the Library are having a monthly meeting at 10:15 a.m. They are asking for more children’s book donations and are planning a used book sale. They welcome new help and ideas.

Fun at Four (p.m.) is returning with some appley food and activities during the month of September on Thursdays. This is for all elementary-age students.

Tickets for the Grand Rapids bus trip are available until the seats are taken. For information about the trip and other programs please call 574-457-3022.
