Open House May 6 For Heckaman's 80th

Merl Heckaman, Warsaw, is turning 80 on May 9.

Merl was born and raised in Bremen and graduated from Bremen High School.

Merl married Joann Gragg in Bremen and they had five children:?Jay, Brian, Kay, Eric and Tim. He also has 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

After moving to Warsaw to work for Kenneth Gragg at Gragg Equipment Co., now Bobcat of Warsaw, he eventually became the owner. Now semiretired, he enjoys his grandchildren’s sporting events, church, Gideons and his walnut trees.

Come and help him celebrate with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. May 6 at Walnut Creek Church, Warsaw. He says he enjoys gifts of cars, boats, planes — and cards.
